1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY: freshwater turtle on: May 09, 2008 11:36:11 AM
This is a picture I took of my pet turtle. She is about 7 years old. Since she lives in an aquarium, I like to take her out once in a while and let her swim in the bathtub Smiley She really likes to go in there so I took the occasion to snap a few shots of her stretching. My camera is a Sony Cyber-shot 7.2 mega pixels. I really like how we can see the different colours of she body and shell. I hope everyone likes it and comments would be really appreciated!

2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Three new projects! on: April 02, 2008 09:34:56 AM
Today is a snow day! YAY! So I decided that I would take this extra time to make a few things. I had already make notebooks before, so these two were a lot easier and quicker to make for me. And I also make a bookmark with left over paper from a card I had made before.

Thanks a lot for the comments guys Smiley
3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Little notebook on: March 21, 2008 10:05:26 AM
Hello! I made two little notebooks with left over scrapbooking paper. It was my first try at making notebooks. What I did was make 5 small holes through the pages and cover pages and 'sew' it all together. I think they look kind of cute Smiley I used a needle to make the holes and that was horribly difficult, if anyone knows a simpler way?

 Thank you so much Smiley

My mom isn't too good with computers, so I offered to put some pictures of her work on here so she could get comments. These are only two of her pieces: ROOSTERS Smiley

5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Recipe book!! on: October 07, 2007 09:44:21 AM
Hi everyone! I recently got really into scrapbooking and I'm now searching for new ways to scrapbook. So the idea that came to mind was to make a recipe book, with pictures and recipes. My initial idea was to buy an ordinary scrapbook album, but I wanted to know if anyone here would have a better idea! I would like to use plastic page protectors, since chances are the book will most probably be in contact with liquid/sticky/oily substances frequently, but other than that I don't have any constraints.

  Thanks ahead for your ideas!!!
