1  MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY: freshwater turtle in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Florence77 on: May 09, 2008 11:36:11 AM
This is a picture I took of my pet turtle. She is about 7 years old. Since she lives in an aquarium, I like to take her out once in a while and let her swim in the bathtub Smiley She really likes to go in there so I took the occasion to snap a few shots of her stretching. My camera is a Sony Cyber-shot 7.2 mega pixels. I really like how we can see the different colours of she body and shell. I hope everyone likes it and comments would be really appreciated!

2  Three new projects! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Florence77 on: April 02, 2008 09:34:56 AM
Today is a snow day! YAY! So I decided that I would take this extra time to make a few things. I had already make notebooks before, so these two were a lot easier and quicker to make for me. And I also make a bookmark with left over paper from a card I had made before.

Thanks a lot for the comments guys Smiley

3  Little notebook in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Florence77 on: March 21, 2008 10:05:26 AM
Hello! I made two little notebooks with left over scrapbooking paper. It was my first try at making notebooks. What I did was make 5 small holes through the pages and cover pages and 'sew' it all together. I think they look kind of cute Smiley I used a needle to make the holes and that was horribly difficult, if anyone knows a simpler way?

 Thank you so much Smiley

7  Re: Show off your hair! And questions about hair styles! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by Florence77 on: December 31, 2005 01:44:26 PM
I've been checking out on Google for 'textured bob' and I found some really cute cuts! I really liked this one...which is a wig, but who cares! The thing is, my stylist really sucks and I would never trust her with doing anything that drastic with my hair. So I think I'll do like you all suggested and cut my hair in several stages until I finally get to the bob. Mwahahah! I'm all excited now. Thanks everyone for the suggestions! They really helped me out! Kiss

OK, I looked through practically every page and I saw some pretty awesome do's out there. I particularly loved Aly_421's hair. The thing is...I NEED HELP!!! This is a pic of me from about a week ago.

And that...is the shortest my hair has ever been since I was about 7 years old! I had it down to my bum and I got the courage to chop it to that length. I'm a total wimp, but I've always dreamed of having short hair. Last time I went to the salon and I told the hair dresser what she would think of me cutting my hair around jaw length and she totally discouraged me, telling me that my face wasn't strong enough to handle short hair and stuff like that. I dunno, that kind of just freaked me out...Does anyone have any idea of how I could possibly cut, or dye, my hair? I'm thinking nothing too gutsy, but then again, maybe it would do me good to just chop it off or something. Any comments at all would be greatly appreciated!
