1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / collage rummikub pendants- kinda big pics on: January 30, 2010 02:35:02 PM
In the midst of winter depression, I was looking through magazines and decided to start cutting.  I cut tiny little pieces of everything I found remotely interesting.  I arranged these bits and decoupaged them to the backs of Rummikub tiles.  (plastic game pieces about one inch by one and a half inches)  I let them dry over night and then sealed them with diamond glaze.  I plan to glue some kind of metal loop to the back so I can string them up.  I really enjoyed the process of making them and I wanted to see if anyone else found them interesting....

I have big love for these two...

2  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / Fiber Friday 05.22.09!!!! on: May 22, 2009 06:33:40 AM
I'm a little scared to start this thread because I am such a spinning noob.  Here are a couple of simple single plied ones.  I'm sorry I didn't name them... maybe I could get some ideas from you folks.  These are merino and I dyed them myself.

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / keltic flavored necklace on: April 30, 2009 09:07:51 PM
Hi!  I have messed around with beaded necklaces for awhile, but this is the first time I've actually posted something.  The pendant looked kinda cheap on it's own so I added a little leaf to dangle in front of it.

4  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / I dyed, I spun, I conquered on: February 17, 2009 02:55:09 PM
I'm really stoked about this yarn I made.  I hand painted some merino roving.  I spun it up and plied it.  Kinda rainbowey.  Really chunky.

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / yummy mitts on: December 07, 2008 07:12:24 PM
Just plain old acrylic simply soft, but I won't hold it against them.  Still yummy.

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / who likes tattoo themed appliques? I do I do!!! on: December 06, 2008 05:13:27 PM
Here are a few of my happy tattoo appliqued zipper pouches!!

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / messenger-like bag with "inked fabric" on: December 05, 2008 09:42:34 PM
I fell in love with this fabric a few months ago and now I see it everywhere.  I want to call this a messenger bag because of the long strap, it don't have the typical messenger bag flap.  I just have one zipper on the front.  The front zipper is the main access to the bag.  I posted a similar style a long time ago... http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=233457.msg2550099#msg2550099  It is the same construction only a lot bigger.

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / all lined up on: November 05, 2008 11:14:49 AM
I had a craft fair coming up and the pressure was on to get my booth filled up.  Here is what I was working  on in the week leading up to the event.  Pretty purses all in a row.  Everything is lined in black so I didn't get shots of the insides.  If you can't tell in the pic, I have black shoulder straps on three of these.

These close with a drawstring.

here are a couple of booth shots if you guys are interested

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / sea creature appliqués on: August 31, 2008 04:10:34 PM

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / applique wristlets (with edge) on: August 20, 2008 06:41:09 PM
I love these little guys.  I made one with another revolver.
here is the origional revolver applique.

The polka dots on the lining are a bit washed out.  There are a couple of big green dots that pick up the green from the front.

This one breaks my heart

Check it out... It burns!
