I just finished my simple poofy skirt! It's so easy to do also... you just have to have patience in placing the garter.

The skirt is made from 1.5 yards of crumpled taffeta. I cut the fabric crosswise and attached it together, making 3 yards. (I hope this makes sense) Haha!

I love vintage photography. recently, I found a beautiful collection of textures from flickr and I just started playing with them on some of my photos.  It's amazing how textures can really change the feel of my photos. I am absolutely in love with textures now!

Every year, I always get planners, but I don't seem to fill all the pages... so now, I'm trying to put it into use and sketching on them. I say, I am warming on the idea of sketching on planners now. Here are some examples:

I finished my cloth accessory the other day and I said, why not make a matching gown for it. I don't have a working sewing machine now, so I'm just doing everything by hand... I don't really want to spend so much time hand sewing, so I just did this gown with silk-satin cloth, one (yes, one!) safety pin and a belt --- yes, no sewing did on this project!

The safety pin is stuck on the chest part just to fit the fabric on me then I put on the belt and did random rouching.

I suggest you wear something underneath just to prevent any wardrobe malfunction. Ha-ha! In these pictures, I'm wearing a vintage lace skirt!
