you can sorta tell he has an airplane.  The images are kind of dark, I am sure it is clearer in person

It looks cool though, I like that it is not smack dab in the top, middle of the shirt. Excellent placement!

548  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / super sailor shirt on: January 02, 2006 06:22:47 AM
I call this shirt my "sailor shirt".  It kind of reminds me of the shirt kirk douglas is wearing in 20,000 leagues under the sea.

It is made from two separate shirts.  The top striped shirt was too small but too cute to pass up and the material on the bottom is just from an old cotton t-shirt.  Since the top shirt was a bit snug on me I put a stripe of the blue from the bottom up the sides.

The pictures are kind of dark, but the shirt on the bottom is a navy blue color. I guess I should have waited to take to pictures during the day.

this is the stripe down the side of the shirt

I found one of my sister's old New Kid on the Block washcloths, so naturally I used it to make a purse.

It was constructed with the random fabric that I already had, so the inside lining is brown and the back has fuzzy orange.  I used a piece of tow strap for the handle.
