Ahw how cute. I made some of these hearts a few years ago but mine didn't look half as good as yours. I didn't have this pattern though I lost the link to the one I had but still I like these especially the pocket heart.

O-M-G they are ADORABLE! I would so make them, I too was shocked when I saw they were hard plastic dolls, but yours are even cuter then the originals.
