3  V-Day Twins Amor and Ai(very IMG heavy) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Aelita on: February 13, 2011 10:39:11 PM
Okay these twins were born on Valentines Day so today is their b-day. The red head is named Ai(eye) which is how you say Love is Japanese and the pink head is named Amor which is how you say Love in Spanish.

This is Ai(eye):

This is Amor:

Here are some pics of them together. My fav is the one of them holding hands:

These twins took me about a week to make b/c I worked on them both in turns. I've made many of these dolls so it gets easier and faster everytime I make one. My next one will be a St. Patty's Day doll. I may make it a big and little sister. Well what do ya think? Did you notice the hearts  on their shoes?

5  I Am A Potter Freak (IMG HEAVY) in Crochet: Completed Projects by Aelita on: November 19, 2010 01:05:35 PM
Okay this year I went to this thing called Harry Potter Adventure. It was where they showed the 5th movie then the 6th and finally at midnight they showed part I of the 7th which is AWESOME!!! So I made myself a robe.
Robe Back:
Notice I am the Seeker instead of Harry lol
Robe Front:
it's only half in front and that's Harrys' Wand I have I also have Rons' and Hermiones' but I'll be getting more wands.
HP Bag:
this bag used to be a tank top that I wore to the 6th movie, but I thought why make a bag when I can turn the tank top into one but the cool thing is all I have to do is unthread the bottom and it's a tank top again lol
Robe with Hood:
this next pic was taken with my phone but this girl was Moaning Mrtyle and she sat in this stall for a while crying like Myrtle she was brave b/c I wouldn't have sat in there like that:

All in all I had a blast it was packed for the 5th and 6th movie but it really got packed when the 7th movie was about to show. There was so many ppl dressed up and everything but no one had on a crocheted robe lol. There were some there with a crocheted scarves. I was even on the channel 13 news.

6  I got Crabs lol & other things (IMG HEAVY) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Aelita on: September 12, 2010 11:06:52 AM
Okay they are just rainbow crabs lol but these little guys took me no time at all to make:

once you get at least two of them done you don't have to look at the pattern anymore you can just make them. Next up is Naomi in a Bear suit. She is from Owlishly but she is much bigger then the other patterns she has:

here is a pic showing the skull on the side of her bear hood:

and here is a pic showing her tail:

Next up is what the pattern called boogers or bogies but they just look like little aliens to me:

next up is Bob the Blood drop and he is a cutie:

imagine if you had this coming from your finger lol:

next up is my little bumble bee I got the pattern for her from 'frecklesinoureyes' but she has a twist to her colors:

and here is her stinger:

here is my two little porings I saw them in the post '175 Amis' the pattern is in her blog under free patterns:

I also made a mini Patriotic Sackboy:

the pattern for him I got from a girl on livejournal. her is a mini purple bear I made. The cool thing about this bear is it is crocheted all in one, even the ears are made on the head not sewn afterwards. The only thing to sew on is the head:

and finally I have this kitty I named him Neko:

here he is from the side to show his tail which has a pipe cleaner in it:

Finally links to patterns. The crabs come from here:

7  The 3rd doll of the triplets is here!!!(IMG HEAVY) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Aelita on: July 25, 2010 03:51:08 PM
Okay you remember Yumi and Saya the other two dolls of the triplets I made. Well here is Aoi(owie). Her visa finally cleared and she is here with her sisters:
Aoi:

Aoi sitting:

here are some pics of all three of the triplets together:

they got Yumi to sit:

this one Aoi wanted to sit

finally they all decided to sit down but this one is in the order they were born. Yumi first 5 mins later came Saya and then 8 mins later came Aoi:

for those of you don't know, Aoi means the color blue in japanese hinting at her color. I think I will redo Yumis hair seeing as it is a hair cap and I can undo it. Well there are the triplets all safe and together. I love this set of dolls I made.
