1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / "Leftovers" Baby Socks on: July 05, 2007 12:16:06 PM
Finished these last Monday. This pattern is great for using up leftover sock yarn. Unfortunately, I can't remember what kind of sock yarn I used. Regia? I don't know.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / super high-rise pants on: October 29, 2005 01:16:02 PM

Can anyone recommend a pattern for these type of pants? I'm not even sure what they're called. They go all the way up to under her boobs. Very old time sexy.
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Yarn recommendations, please! (iso drapey yarn) on: August 29, 2005 10:17:59 AM
Hey ladies, I need your input. I'm looking for yarns that drape nicely when knit up. My preferences are:

+ nothing chunky
+ nothing fuzzy
+ both cheap AND designer yarn ideas welcome!

Thanks! Wink

6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Knitting on Crank Yankers on: November 12, 2004 08:33:14 PM
Last night I was knitting while Crank Yankers was on. And low and behold, there was a phone-sex operator puppet on there knitting so I grabbed my camera and snapped a pic! Thought you guys might get a kick out of it, too. Wink

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Excess sock yarn... on: July 22, 2004 04:38:48 AM
After I knit a pair of socks I always have a little bit of sock yarn left over. I don't really wear wrist bands and I have absolutely no use for Knitty's condom cozy lol... so do you have any other ideas on what I could knit this into?
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Yarn - bits & pieces on: April 06, 2004 04:52:52 PM
Someone gave me a few skeins of alpaca yarn that has been chewed up by moths. This means the yarn is in 34986596 bits & pieces! Seriously each skein is in about 100 pieces.

My question:
Is it worth tying up the pieces and knitting/crocheting them? What would you recommend doing with it?
