2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: So I have a sketch book...what goes inside now?(PIC HEAVY) on: March 16, 2009 06:57:28 PM
i want to apologize if that sounded rude. when i read it i thought the OP had bought some used sketchbook from a garage sale/somewhere that had been drawn and painted in by some artist and had taken hair dye to it. i can totally appreciate using unlikely materials as a medium! just not to destroy someone else's work. if it is just some sketchbook with a cover you don't much like- cool way to personalize it. sorry i misunderstood!

It saddens me that you consider emphatic finger paint to be a higher art form than actual premeditated and well executed artworks of skill and finess. Moreover that you lash out and attack said pieces rather than using them as examples to better your own work.

totally agree. i am hoping that painting of a girl was just a printed cover and not actual artwork being destroyed with... manic panic. srsly?

Finished these last Monday. This pattern is great for using up leftover sock yarn. Unfortunately, I can't remember what kind of sock yarn I used. Regia? I don't know.
