18  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / ragamittens on: January 15, 2006 04:11:08 PM
I tested knitted some "ragamittens" for http://www.monkeyknits.com/ here's the finished product. it was a great pattern. and i love the mitts. the yarn was super soft. one strand of wool and another of mohair. I'm def going to make these again. i'm not sure what she'll be doing with the pattern but i'd go over there and ask her.   here's a pix that my DD took who's 6 i liked the angle of the camera... you can see the wool yarn was green and the mohair was a light pale yellow. together they look wonderful. i love green!
19  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / koolaid dyed wool on: January 15, 2006 04:00:12 PM
i dyed some yarn the other day with kool aid here's how it turned out

i love doing it i have to get some more natrual wool to dye. it's so addictive!
i used up all of my kool aid stash and i'll have to get more. i love the bright colors you get with the darker aid's lol

i also dyed some wool

so what do you think?
