4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / coloring "copy paper" on: May 18, 2006 09:28:09 AM
hello all.

i have a question for all you paper-masters. i want to make a small wreath of paper leaves i saw on-line. it's fall leaves and the paper leaves are all different fall colors.

i have to do this on a VERY TIGHT budget, and the only paper i have available to me is white office paper. my question is: how can i color/paint this paper without it looking coloring-book-ish, or having the paper warp from the wetness of the paint?

any and all ideas and/or comments will be greatly appreciated.

thank you for your time
5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / sharpies on glass on: April 25, 2006 01:26:35 PM
i presently don't have sharpies at home  Cry
please feel free to pity me

i know that you can write on anything with a sharpie. my question is: if you write on glass with a sharpie, do you have to protect it in any way? should it be sealed, or will it stay put?

thank you so much for your time

7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / how to cut paper? on: March 07, 2006 03:27:23 PM
i decided to turn my box of un-usable business cards into little journals/books. so i glued two business cards together, facing each other, to cover the business info.

so far, so good.

now i need to fill them with paper. but everytime i try, i don't like the way the paper looks. so very uneven and uprofessional.

i was wondering, what do you guys use to cut paper for your books that cuts evenly? so far i've used scissors, and a box-cutter

any advice would be helpful
