2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: New pillows on: June 25, 2009 05:07:44 PM

3  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Upholstery samples..What to do with? on: June 25, 2009 04:57:10 PM
my sister went to a furniture store specifically to buy the little upholstery samples so she could recover her kitchen chairs with them. it was really cheap and easy to do and each chair she made a different pattern but all with the same color scheme and they look awesome, professionally done and they cost her maybe 20 dollars to do. they look really elegant too.
4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: my amazing SIMPLE quilt. on: August 27, 2006 06:55:12 PM
yeahhh. they have batting (is that what its called? oh man im horrible) matting? whatever....  Undecided in the middle of the squares...like each square is sewn individually with that stuff in the middle. its probably just because i bought the thinner kind. im positive you could make it thick ify ou wanted. its just a matter of how much you want to spend and such. (my sewing machine doesnt like the tension changed. 'tis very touchy. so i try hard not to make things too thick so i dont have to change it. shame on me...haha) but yeah.  thats that.
5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: my amazing SIMPLE quilt. on: August 26, 2006 06:36:21 PM
ummm its probably about 5 feet by 7 feet. or some odd measurement like that. i really didnt measure it too well (all the squares are...but ...haha...im not the best at that either..) but yeah. its hotpink black and white. i love it. i made another one for my boyfriend except it was different patterns with blue in them becuase thats his favorite color. but yeah. they're verrrrrrrrry simple. kinda thin though. so not the best for winter...
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: What to do when your kidney STILL hurts...(lousy w/ pics) on: August 18, 2006 12:00:42 PM
i love the bags. you definitely should sell them (im in love with the yellow) their better than anything i could make and umm. yeah. i love them. hahah.
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / my second shirt. (to match ze first) on: August 18, 2006 08:45:46 AM
so the whole point in making the first shirt...was to make a matching one. today ima show my boyfriend. i think this looks a lil too girly or whatever...but yeah. its up to him. he'll do anything to please me though (when it comes to my crafting) so anything i  make him, he cherishes. but yeah...i might tell him he doesnt have to wear this one.hehehe. but yeah. sorry the pics arent very good quality...gotta love camera phones. on this, since its  ablack shirt...and a bad camera. you cant really see the blue detail on it. so thats not cool. but yeah. anyways. the pictures::

bottom right handside (front):::

the top left handside (front):::

on this one i left the detail off the sleeve. i think that wouldve made it more..feminine. then it already is..haha.

but yeah. comments/ criticisms welcome. umm. i think that's really about all...i just started this painting on shirts/clothing thing...so i'm still new to it and not very good. but practice makes perfect so i'll keep it up!

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Plaid Jacket, Eyelet Jacket, Gingham Shirt and a Dog Scarf! on: August 16, 2006 11:32:33 PM
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! those are amazing. i love them. do you have a tut or pattern or whatever for them? i always wanted a whole bunch of diff. patterened blazers and such but dont want to pay forty dollars each. it would be so much more convenient to find a good durable pattern and be able to make bunches for like 10-15 or so dollars each. ya know???
