41  Re: Unconditional Swap January Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Deirdre on: January 26, 2006 05:54:03 PM
Craft_t_Chic must have had a free day or two, because I received from her as well!  Check out my cool new HAT!  with a pompom on the top!  And she send me a pin with rhinestone in the middle!  Yeah Craft_t_Chic!  Yeah Unconditional Swap!

I like this hat SO MUCH.  I've been wearing it since I got home and unwrapped it.  Thank you so much Craft_t_Chic!

Well, here's the next one I made.  I can't wait to give it to my friend!  She's going to love it (I think  Undecided)

The color combination really pops IRL.

I have a friend whose birthday is today, so I made her one of these scarves!  It's not as long, but I really like it.  I made it from some kind of bumpy yarn, ribbon, regular yarn, suede yarn, and chenille yarn.  I love all the different textures together.  I used blue, grey, white, and black.

Here are two shots of the dress.  The first is it's full length hideousness.  It's far too roomy at the bust and arms, the waist is unbearable, the dress has no shape, and yet there's a flirty twirl of fabric at the knees.  Amazing.

Here's an upclose to show you just how pretty the fabric is and just how mind-bendingly awful the black elasitic casing is:

I forgot to look to see if there was a tag.  I hope I am reconning some lable, and no someone's home-sewn jobbie.  The sewing's actually quite good, and the fabric, a light rayon, is lovely.  It's the shape that's so sad (well, plus the sausage casing in the middle).

Woot!  I am very excited about this recon!

Hi everyone!  I saw this scarf project and love it!  So I made one.  I used red, black, white, blue, grey, and purple yarn and embroidery floss.  I mixed the colors together, and braided.  I love this scarf!  Here are the pics:

This is the whole scarf:

This is a pic of the knotted ends:

I love my new, so-easy-to-make scarf!
