I made these really simple turkey cookies just for fun today.



All you need is:

Chocolate striped cookies
Candy Corn
Snickers, Milky Way, or other square-shaped fun sized candy
Chocolate frosting

All you do is "glue" the candy corn and candy on with chocolate frosting.  You can attach them to the chocolate side or the cookie side with the stripes.  I did a mixture of both to make them all different.

Do you have to have fondue pots to make fondue?

Couldn't you just use saucepans with bowls in them for that and then put them in ceramic bowls?

is there anyway we could divide this board up into st. louis and kansas city?

i think it'd be much easier/convenient for craftster members to browse thataway.

okay so i made fried chicken for the lady i watch at work tonight...

i tried to make the kind where you dip the chicken in egg and then roll it in corn flakes.  only problem: the corn flakes either didn't stick to the chicken or came off as soon as i put them in the pan.

what did i do wrong?  does anyone have a better recipe?

Has anyone ever been to/joined dontcookalone.com?

I think it's a really good concept (I've joined) but not many people are on there, especially from my area.
