I made them for Mom for her birthday, but she didn't really like them.  I'm hoping they turn out better with Grandma.

13  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / cat toy storage? on: April 14, 2007 05:08:12 PM
i am looking for some way to store the cat toys that are as of right now dispersed all over the apartment.

is there any way to store them so that he can still get to them but then later i can go around and pick them up?  i usually put them in the cat hutch while i'm cleaning and then the next day they're all over the place.

any ideas?
14  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / changing pads / pocket changers on: March 30, 2007 06:47:30 AM
how much fabric should i buy to make a pocket changer / changing pad?

does anyone have a tutorial?  i can't tell what the dimensions are/how big it should be from the pictures.

and then, should i make a couple for each baby so that she can change them out if one gets dirty?
15  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / embellished calendar photos. on: March 09, 2007 08:52:31 PM
you know those generic cat calendars?  kind of like this?

http://www.animalden.net/cj/7771.jpg

do you guys have any ideas for embellishing these?  i was thinking that i love cats and those calendars are so cheap, so if i could embellish the photos and frame them, it'd be easy wall art.

thanks for looking!

19  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / canvas grocery bag on: December 27, 2006 02:12:14 PM
i like the canvas grocery bags found here:
http://www.cafepress.com/opheliasart/483112

but i can't imagine paying $18 for just one.  if i bought some plain ones at joann's couldn't i just get some iron-on transfer dealies and make my own?

thanks for looking!
20  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / how to seal christmas coffee mug? on: December 19, 2006 05:53:54 AM
So I decorated a coffee mug for my site supervisor for Christmas.  I used paint pens on a black mug.

Now I'm just wondering what I can use as a gloss/protectant so she can actually use it and the paint doesn't come off.
