according to the tracking, toomuchrock received her armwarmers from me, so i thought i'd post pictures. Smiley

before dyeing with kool-aid....

and after. i was aiming for hot pink, but they came out dark red.

(on me) they're about mid length between wrist and elbow. nearly ran out of yarn. i hope you enjoy them! Smiley

i got my fuzzy feet from Reen today! i've been anxious for the past 4 days (obsessively tracking through UPS). it said it was scheduled to arrive today, and i've been antsy all morning! FINALLY, the UPS guy comes a'knockin' on my door. i happily sign, and am now in posession of fuzzy feet that match my favorite sleep pants PERFECTLY!

beautifully packaged. Smiley

hee hee! they're ever so slightly loose, but it's to be expected, i have narrow feet. but they fit perfectly with socks! i was amused to find them still damp, lol.

action shot!

side view.

they match my favorite pj bottoms perfectly!

thank you thank you soooooo much! i love them! i wore them for about 15 minutes before i had to take them off. it's about 80 degrees outside and i have the windows thrown open. but these will definitely get tons of use! you're awesome!!!!!!

(note to self: cut down on picture-taking. lol)

63  Re: headphone... sleeves?? in Knitting: Completed Projects by tasha07 on: March 12, 2006 12:08:20 PM
finally finished! it was my first time working on needles so small (#1 DPN's), and my first time working in the round on DPN's, so the fork is slightly odd, but overall, really good for my first time. i picked the yarn because i think it looks like television snow. lol.

64  Re: Big Bad Baby Blanket anyone??? in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by tasha07 on: February 19, 2006 08:33:20 AM
i've just started this yesterday. my sister is having a baby girl (due in June), and i'm knitting it out of Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport in Iris Garden. i LOVE it, it's so soft and pretty, plus it's superwash, so it's easy to care for. though it is a $60 baby blanket (yarn off ebay), i'll probably have her send it back once the baby's too big for it so i can knit loops on the end to hang on her wall or something. lol. i got about ten rows done yesterday.

67  noro ipod cozy + black handwarmers of death in Knitting: Completed Projects by tasha07 on: February 14, 2006 04:47:44 PM
i got a new 30GB video ipod saturday, and i had a skein of noro silk garden lying around and this is what came out of it:

for christmas, i knit up 4 pairs of handwarmers for my family back home in Ohio (all wool). then, my 2 y/o nephew continued to steal my sister's, and a woman my mother goes to school with requested some. i knit my nephew's in red knitpicks merino style. for the woman, i picked up a skein of lionbrand microspun. i have NEVER had so much trouble with a yarn. i finished one, and finally started the second one a few weeks afterward. about 2/3 of the way through, the acrylic was too sticky on my bamboo needles, and a few stitches slipped off. because of the horrible plying, i couldn't get them back on and frogged it. bought some aluminum needles, and FINALLY finished them today:

and i can FINALLY send both pairs out tomorrow. i am never knitting handwarmers ever again. lol

69  mosaic scarf from magknits + other FO's (image heavy!) in Knitting: Completed Projects by tasha07 on: January 24, 2006 02:43:19 PM
this is my first post to Craftster. i left my camera cord back home in ohio over christmas, and i just got it back yesterday, so i can post some of my FO's!

pattern: matilda mosaic from magknits
yarn: 1 skein RY Cashsoft DK in black
1 skein Noro Silk Garden #205
needles: #10 US

although the pattern calls for a worsted-weight solid color yarn, i love the RY Cashsoft DK, and i think it shows off the noro much better.

stitch definition

the color is more accurate in the picture above this.

this is a mr. dangly head. i have one arm and two legs to go yet. lol

a swatch i knit from reynold's lite-lopi in natural to test the feltingness of it, and a condom fits in it!

these were made for (and are modeled by) my mom for christmas in RY Cashsoft DK in lime using this pattern (slightly modified).

hope you like!! Smiley  feedback is welcomed & appreciated.
