1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Dead..uh..Live Fish Hat on: December 04, 2013 09:58:16 AM
I recently completed the Fish Hat [Dead or Alive?].  This is the biggest knitting project I've ever done, and my first on circular needles.

Here's a link to the project page: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/andy8715/fish-hat-dead-or-alive

3  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Discussion and Questions / Dying muslin with kool-aid? on: February 11, 2013 12:02:12 AM
Is it possible?  Do you have any experience doing it?
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / drafting a vest pattern. Do you have any experience? on: February 04, 2013 12:23:06 AM
I am really wanting a men's zippered vest, but being that I can't afford to go out and buy one and I am into sewing lately I've decided to draft my own pattern.  I'm using this ehow article: http://www.ehow.com/how_4423824_make-vest-pattern.html.  Do you have any advice or tips that could help me?
5  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / is there a way to change your username? on: June 11, 2012 10:47:23 PM
I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but I was wondering if there was a way to change your username?  The name Ambo, does not fit me and reminds me of a person I used to be but am not anymore.  I would like to change it if at all possible.
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / DPN case on: June 11, 2012 10:42:49 PM
I'm a Hufflepuff in the Harry Potter Knitting & Crochet House Cup group on Ravelry.  I'm on hiatus from the game this month because I had carpal tunnel release surgery on the 24th of May so I've been going crazy with boredom since I can't do handwork.  I bought a few sets of DPNs on eBay a couple of weeks ago and decided I wanted to make a case to keep them as well as my other sets of DPNs organized.  I also wanted to make a Hufflepuff themed (sort-of) item.  So here is my case:

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / What did I do wrong? on: March 04, 2012 02:41:19 PM
There's a weird looking spot on my knitting.  I'm a total newb to knitting and am not sure what this is. Where the stitches are slanted.

8  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / how to pick fabrics on: February 24, 2012 06:53:55 PM
I have an awesome 12 patch quilt my mom made for the family when I was around 2.  She hand cut all these 2" squares (1296 of them), machine pieced them, and then hand quilted it.  Unfortunately I and my younger sister had night wetting issues so the quilt got washed A LOT.  the quilt is destroyed basically, unusable and I want to make my own.  She used little scraps she had from other quilts she had made and clothes she had made me, but I don't have scrap fabric.  So how do I pick the fabrics?  I don't want it to be matchy, I want it to look scrappy, I think.
9  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / soda cans on: May 26, 2011 09:32:33 PM
Does anyone have experience using soda can's for things?  I want to cut off the tops and bottoms and use the middle part since it will be flat.  I want to use it to make armor for an amigurumi I'm working on.
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / using fun fur yarn on: July 09, 2009 09:24:01 AM
I bought some fun fur but I am unsure if you are supposed to pull out of the end like some skeins, or what.  I don't want to mess up the yarn so I thought it best to ask.
