1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Dumbass resin question, but please help! on: March 15, 2008 09:21:14 AM
Its been 24 hours since I left my resin pendants and they are still a bit soft, what I am meant to do to speed it along? Is it heat or cool air it needs? And what do I use? Cheers!

PS yes I've searched, but sorry if I just wasnt looking properly!
2  U.K. AND IRELAND / ENGLAND / To all those in Hampshire,.... on: January 13, 2008 06:04:58 AM
Just wondering if any of you has ever tried selling at the Southsea Show, Kite Festival etc (oooo and Fort Purbrook?), and what your experiences were?
3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Buying Materials AND Selling on Ebay? on: January 12, 2008 02:18:20 PM
I apologise now if this topic has been brought up before, but I wanted to know what people think about this. I've been keen to sell my jewellery on ebay for a while now, but I buy the majority of my materials on there. Personally I wouldnt want to buy something from someone if I could see how much it cost them to make it! Opinions?
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Gauge of head pins? on: July 23, 2007 11:07:30 AM
Am after some silver plated wired the same thickness as head pins and was just wondering what gauge this was?
5  U.K. AND IRELAND / ENGLAND / Selling to shops? on: May 25, 2007 11:13:35 AM
Just wondering if anyone has ever sold their crafts to little shops/boutiques before, and how they went about doing it. I'm in Hampshire and there doesn't seem to be many places I think would be right for my jewellery but maybe I'm just not looking properly!
6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Moving forward... on: April 27, 2007 02:43:11 PM
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas about how to push my jewellery party forwards. I have a website that I made recently, though I havent had any orders through it yet. I've sold some stuff through my mum's work and through college and in a few week's am doing a jewellery party with my old tutor, but I feel like I'm not really doing anything to drive it forward. Everything that I think of seems expensive and risky, like craft shows.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Blue square glass pendant on: July 12, 2006 09:59:05 AM
Hey, well basically I've designed a necklace and can find everything I need for it apart from one thing. The main focal piece is supposed to be a square, or maybe rectangular, glass pendant. The colour is turquoise, not actual turqouise but just the colour, or maybe blue opal. The problem is that I cannot find anything like this on ebay or on the net. If anyone can suggest a site that would be great (has to be in pounds sterling). Alternatively I was thinking if I can't find it I could make it but was wondering how hard it would be as I have never 'made' glass, and how costly it would be. Thanks.
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / What boxes do you use? on: June 29, 2006 11:05:59 AM
I'm going to purchase some boxes for the first time, and was just wondering what other people use? I don't want anything tacky but I don't want to pay a lot for them. Also I make mainly earrings and bracelets so necklace boxes aren't needed (yet! lol).
9  U.K. AND IRELAND / ENGLAND / Setting up a website on: January 25, 2006 10:16:36 AM
Hiya, I want to set up a website selling crafted goods made by myself and others. I want a professional looking website so I think I may need to get someone to do it for me. I was just wondering how any of you who have websites went about setting them up, finding hosts and designers, implementing shopping carts, etc.
10  U.K. AND IRELAND / ENGLAND / People in Hampshire/South willing to contribute to making craft items for fairs? on: January 15, 2006 08:24:32 AM
Hiya, I am looking to start holding craft/fashion fairs and home parties. If anyone is interested in making things for these, please send me a message. Whether I work on commision or buy the items outright is negotiable. Thankyou.
