How we all doing?

I have to take this moment to apologise for not yet having finished cmc_aust's square, cause well, I unpicked half of it cause I think I was colourblind when I stitched it. I used two completely and I mean completely different thread colours. and did not notice

Hi Everyone,

How ya'll doing? I currently have cmc_aust's square half done. Being last on the list for that one messed me up, all my fairytale choices had already been taken  Cheesy Then I just have jane feebles apron (which you have miss_vicki? I will admit I'm losing track a little) and I will be all finished  Shocked
14  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: Crochet and Lace chokers on: October 08, 2007 05:26:25 PM
Lovely!

To date all my attempts as crocheting with beads have been pretty ordinary, but you have inspired me to try again, these would be lovely for Christmas gifts
15  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Fitted Crocheted Jacket/top? Why Not!! on: October 08, 2007 03:31:42 PM
You really do make the most lovely things, I think this is by far my favourite. I have a weakness for crocheted jackets  Cheesy
16  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: I made a mini "Yip-yip" alien! on: October 07, 2007 05:54:31 PM

Hee hee. Yeah, they're not exactly the most high-tech Muppets ever. Just some guy's hand shoved in a chenille sock. lol  The bugs are ringing a bell, but I can't quite picture them. Nobody ever remembers the Count's backup singer bats either. (Might just have been for one song, though.) I loved those little guys.

Oh I do! You see it doesn't take much around here for the boy or I to launch into a sesame street tune and the boy's favourite is the batty bat

"one two three count!"

I laughed so hard when I saw this in the hot topics and demanded the boy come and look... he's been re-enacting the yip yip yip MOOOO sketch ever since  Grin
18  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: Reusable alternative to wrapping paper (pic chubby) on: September 28, 2007 12:36:47 AM
That really is a brilliant idea! I was just thinking today about gift wrap, or the lack thereof, everyone in my immediate family has a habit of just handing over the present sans wrapping cause we don't like to use something that will just be thrown away, something like this would give back the unwrapping fun and fit in with the environmental sensibilities  Cheesy
19  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: I made a meerkat on: September 27, 2007 04:33:21 PM
I agree with everyone above, he looks so incredibly lifelike, not to mention completely adorable.

YKYACW you are given a huge new LCD screen for your birthday and the first thing you do after setting it up is log on to Craftster.

I did. And made the boy look. But now I think the project pictures on the main page need to be a little bit bigger, they now look kind of small to me  Grin
