11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Golden Dragonet on: January 29, 2010 03:23:31 PM
aww, I loved those books! I think your little lizard turned out very true to the books, especially love the inset eyes.
12  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: uranium, a circle jacket on: January 29, 2010 03:17:05 PM
love the jacket, the shoes, and the necklace =)

excellent choice of colors, I would do something either insanely bright as well, or incredibly neutral (to wear with everything else colorful, of course!

13  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: freaky-ish necklace holder on: January 11, 2010 06:29:44 PM
I think this is awesome, and anyone that knows me would totally expect it. Except the hoarder I am, I would need a large log, and lots of various hands in different colors (man makes me want to get cracking on that...)
14  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Thrifted Table to Turkish Delight on: January 11, 2010 06:16:31 PM
love the outcome! I would do the same thing...if I had surfaces proper for attacking. Handy those frilly clip art books.

I've tried and failed the same photo transfer onto furniture. But since the surface was paint and not wood...nothing worked. I had to free hand, so my design was greatly simplified, haha. At least I know it works on sanded wood!
15  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Skanky threadbare office chair transformed! on: December 30, 2009 05:34:41 PM
ooh how I love the fabric you chose, looks really slick! My cat loves clawing up office chairs...but the one she loves in particular is the car seat with armrest fancy type...don't have enough confidence to that apart!!!!

I like the comment about leather corners...customize d durability is something you cant find in a store!
16  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Bird Potholders on: December 30, 2009 05:25:23 PM
Ok, I hate fancy potholders that are at all gloveish...but those birds are tooo cute and look like something I wouldn't mind using to make cookies!
17  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Flat Rate Fill-a-Box: New Years 2010 on: December 30, 2009 05:06:04 PM
ahh this sounds too cool! All my junk is in storage though. But if it wasn't man I have collected lots of knick knacky things I've always wanted to make something out of...but you know how that goes.
Maybe the next go around!
18  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Doll House! on: December 26, 2009 04:41:32 PM
3 days...I bet you had no idea what you were getting yourself into. I have a smaller one that is still in some pieces and uncolored...months later. (but I'm also a perfectionist....) But hey yours like great from here and i'm sure the girl loves it!
19  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Sequin Trees on: December 04, 2009 05:45:48 PM
yep, I've seen the overpriced target ones! Super fitting for your lilac room, but if it were me I would have a colorful forest of sequin trees! Ok I say that now, I bet pushing pins isn't as fun as it sounds...
20  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Lots o' lightbulb and spoon ornaments-- pic heavy! on: December 04, 2009 05:40:09 PM
love the reindeer and santa bulbs, especially how the bulb rounds out santas face to make him oh so cuter! and I wouldn't mind a set of the snowman and penguin spoons, I would overdecorate the kitchen with them! just needs reindeer forks?
