1  Baby Girl shower Blanket in Quilting: Completed Projects by nccg47 on: June 28, 2008 12:01:23 PM
I made this blanket for my friend's baby shower. She just loves roses and pink. She just had a baby girl a couple of days ago! I embroidered her baby girl's initial on the top square. Red worked 5 cute little flower girls square and rose print fabric squares. All the roses and leaves are raised up because I highlighted them by free motion quilting.

This is my first blanket and she loved it! Here I would like to share with you. Smiley

Inspired by one of the talent crafters at the forum, I stated quiting on my bags. Here are a few of them. Each one features free motion quilted raised flowers or other patterns. How do you like the idea and result? Wink. Comments are welcomed!

3  Re: Victorian Rose Fan Purse w/ Crochet Trims in LIMBO by nccg47 on: August 20, 2007 12:50:32 PM
Here is another Victorian purse

Crochet could not express my love of Victorian era beauties. But Crochet is still a very handy skill to make some beautiful trims and a lot more things. [url]Here is an example . Wink

6  Pineapple Kerchief and more... in Crochet: Completed Projects by nccg47 on: July 01, 2007 07:57:31 AM

Pineapple Kerchief. It is a combination of crochet and embroidery. The lace trims give it a vintage look ... very feminine! I have been working on recreating a past gentle beauty of delicate laces, vintage flower and crochet elements. There are more pictures for details from my website.

Best,

Ning

9  Freeform Fall Hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by nccg47 on: October 10, 2006 06:22:13 AM
Always want to make something in a freefrom way. Here is it - a freeform hat with fall color, rich burgundy, orange, yellow, dark green and a lot of variegated of those colors... Stitches used including rolls, hyperbolic, rose, leafs and many fill in pieces to complete the hat. A real fun to make! I am sure I will make more freeform hats and purses. View my website and have a look! Thanks!

10  Lacy Pineapple Top in Crochet: Completed Projects by nccg47 on: August 23, 2006 05:29:44 PM
Haven't been post for a while. I just finished this Lacy Pineapple Top. It was designed using traditional crochet skill and freeform ideas. 3D roses were placed in the middle of both front and back. Just right to combine the two pieces. Sleeves feature pineapple tips, look pretty lacy and elegant. Here is the picture shoot from different directions. Any questions please send email. Thanks.
