29  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: fancy little candle holder on: December 30, 2005 09:06:02 AM
i was worried about using fabric i also used paper so they both are probably a fire hazard but i sealed it with mod podge wich might make it even more dangerous i dont know if its flamable or not, but when i gave these away i put a candle in them that was allready in a glass case so it wouldnt melt or burn the cup. the ladies i gave these to had other ways to put the little cups to use like they said they were going to put potpouri or flowers in them. i just mostly liked making them, thats all.
30  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / burlesque clock pretty close to being trash on: December 30, 2005 08:22:49 AM
from the picture its kinda hard to see that this is a clock but what happened is that this technically was my first craft project it was an experimentation with mod podge acrylic paint and a record, when it was finished i liked how it turned out but i couldn't think of anything usefull to do with it i almost threw it away until i saw here on craftster that you could easily turn an old record into a clock so thats what i did. YIPPY!

ha ha ha i almost put the wrong picture in. whoops!
