I'd like to design my very first project ... I'm thinking a bag for my laptop would be great and probably fairly simple to design.  I'd like to design a felted version for sturdiness (my laptop is not one of the newer model lightweight carry under your arm types). 

So, how do you account for felting when you're coming up with a pattern?

Ooooh we need to do something like that for our Totti.  His food is on the counter so the dog doesn't get it but we have very limited counter space.
