Your dress is a stunner!

The neckline is so precise.  Did you use boning or something to keep the edges crisp?  How does that stay up?

There are 6 pieces of boning in the bodice. I don't think that the bodice would've stayed up on its own and it would've been even more scandalous!  Cheesy

That is absolutely gorgeous! I love how you went for a nontraditional color. It reminds me of when Dita Von Teese wore purple at her wedding. Again, great job!

Unfortunately I can't provide an action shot because the gown was made to fit the dressform and I don't have a model at the moment.  Sad  I might try it on my roommate who is a similar size. I'm gonna get more pictures of it once I get it back from my professor.  Smiley

I thought I would post my final dress project for my draping class. It's rather simple but has an awesome plunging neckline that is rather scandalous. It was Madame Gres/Grecian inspired. I'd write more but I did a big long explanation and then lost my post so if you have any questions, I'll provide the answer.
