I was just wondering...is this kind of thing tickly to wear?

Hmmm, maybe a little? I don't really notice it, but if you are sensitive to tickles (haha) it might be annoying. You could also make it a little longer so you can wear it over your shirt and not have to feel it at all!

Wow!  Super cute!  My husband would never let me out of the house if I wore those (in more ways than one)!

Haha, I usually keep everything covered up when I wear this out in public. But not always!  Smiley

You are so creative. Who would have thought of using packing peanuts as sushi rice?  You look adorable (or should I say scrumptious Wink) in the costume.

Haha, thank you!  Smiley

These look yummy.   Smiley  What temperature do you bake them at?

Thanks! I baked them at 350 F for about 30 minutes. I also ended up adding some water to the baking dish they were on to make the peppers more "steamed" so they didn't dry out.

It looks really heavy, but I'm guessing the beads you painted are probably a pretty light weight plastic. The paint job looks great and really gives it a nice pop.

Thanks! Yeah, it looks like it could be heavy, but the beads are super light plastic. You could also do this same concept with less beads on each row. It's much more jingly than heavy, though!

This looks amazing!

Also - you are prolific and awesome!  Every project that I've clicked on today because the photo appealed to me has been one of yours!  I never notice your user name until I've clicked over to your blog and I'm like SHE HAS DONE IT AGAIN.

/weird giddy blab moment

Haha, thank you!! This is all SO nice to hear! Glad to know I've mastered the sneak attack!

I had a bunch of these colorful mini feathers laying around so I decided to make a feather statement necklace to show all of the colors off at once. Here are some photos of the the process and the finished feather necklace:

If you want to see how to make this necklace, I have a step-by-step tutorial over on my blog.

Thanks for looking!  Smiley
