1  My Halloween Reconstructed Bridal Shoes. in Shoes: Completed Projects by bnanca on: October 27, 2009 06:56:29 PM
Okay,So I wanted to make some bridal shoes for my halloween costume. So I enlisted the help of my mom and found some white shoes in the back of her closet.

There was a stain on the side of them, and some scuffs and what not. So I went to Home Depot bought some spray paint, should of went elsewhere for cheaper stuff, but oh well.

ETA: Here is the inspiration pic

Here are the shoes,  Smiley

These were during the process, and I was trying to figure out if I wanted more rhinestones.

Here is the final product...

Needless to say my mom wants them back now,  Grin

I might do these to another pair of old heels, post halloween.

2  Halloween Bride Help!? in Halloween Costumes by bnanca on: October 01, 2009 08:37:40 PM
Hi ladies!

I am looking for some suggestions and help.

I am looking to use this super cute white dress that I got on vacation as I never got a chance to wear it in my "hometown" I was going to dress as a fairy, but decided to go for a bride, I just need a little help to make this bridey - lol, if thats a word.

Here is the dress

I want to perhaps add a tulle skirt, lace gloves and a veil?? But where do I start to learn how to make them?? Or should my skirt be a circle skirt with tulle?? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

9  Re: Pink - Camo - Polka Dots - Skull & Stars --- my new Bag!! TUTE pg 3 in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by bnanca on: February 01, 2006 05:28:07 PM
Okay... so here is my first stab at the bag, it sucks only because I cut the handle tooo far towards the top and I used some old shirts to do all the little embellishments on the top, its a little weird, but its my first one, plus I was too lazy to find my big bowl. So, I used the plate I just got done eating my lunch off of, hahaha!! I was soooo lazy.... But with out further adieu here it goes...

Its blue and white, its okay I guess for my first one, but I am gonna do some more, to get better, thanks for the tute. I LOVE IT!!!

Also, sorry about the blurry pics, I am out of a digital camera right now, so I had to use my cell phone.
