1  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Completed Projects / A rustic mountain-woman shawl on: November 14, 2006 12:09:16 PM
Okay, so I finished weaving a very rustic shawl on my triloom. I used handspun/hand-dyed wool. This project took me about a week, out of which I worked about 30 minutes a day. I'll try and post a picture if I can figure out how to do it.

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Knifty Knitter Scarf Question on: January 03, 2006 05:00:56 PM
I have been working on a scarf for my brother, and I am using one of the knifty knitter looms. I've been working back and forth, doing a basic 1 over 2 e-wrap (as I'm not very knowledgeable yet as to other stitches). In other words, I'm working back and forth on the loom, until each peg is wrapped 3 times. Then, I take the bottom loop on each peg and pull it up over the top two and knit off. I was told that this would solve the problem of my scarves curling up, but it doesn't. Does anyone know any other way to keep a scarf from curling? One that's not too difficult?
