1  Anyone know what this style of bodice is called? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by Jaded_Dragon on: February 09, 2014 12:37:38 PM
I want to make a bodice like this, but I'm having trouble finding patterns/diys/guides.

It's Queen Alexandra if that helps.

2  Can you cut the toe off of a high heel? [Warning feet pictures] in Shoes: Discussion and Questions by Jaded_Dragon on: June 19, 2011 08:16:22 PM
So I have these cute shoes, but the toe portion is too long. I want to wear them to my grad later this week, and I'm wondering if I can somehow shorten them.

See, the toe portion is too long and pointy.
What I want to do is something like this:

What methods are good for cutting shoes?

3  Rose in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Jaded_Dragon on: January 05, 2007 11:35:33 PM
Pattern adapted from the one at http://www.savvyseams.com/bags/flower.php

Made from a dress of my grandmothers that she swore she wore, although it was still in four pieces and the zipper wasn't attached.

5  Re: **Adult Topic** B.O.B. Cozies in Discussion and Questions by Jaded_Dragon on: December 06, 2006 05:20:06 PM
Well, I didn't craft mine, but it can hide in plain sight.

Ikea Frog :http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15567&catalogId=10103&storeId=3&productId=53353&langId=-15&categoryId=16119&chosenPartNumber=90078240

The mouth zippers up, and I can fit at least three normal sized ones in there.
Just be careful to hide the toys elsewhere when little ones come visiting.

6  Black skirt in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by Jaded_Dragon on: May 23, 2006 10:05:58 AM
I want to make this:

It looks pretty easy 'cause there's no funky seams or anything. I'm confused on how to make the back go all dramatically sweeping on the floor, though. The pattern would have to scoop out at that point, right?

7  Locks in What the heck can I do with THIS? by Jaded_Dragon on: December 14, 2005 09:30:10 AM
I have come into owning about 50 locks from a school that was shutting down. They look like this:

I'm wondering what else could be done with them other than to put them on things for 'creative embellishment'.
Any ideas?
