1  CANADA / Manitoba / Winnipeg craft group? Come on... on: February 05, 2007 01:24:52 PM
I notice there are a bunch of threads started about craft groups in Winnipeg, but it doesn't look like anything much was followed through.  Is anyone still interested? Huh

Is anybody in love with this beret that Lindsay Lohan is wearing in this picture? If so, any ideas on how to make it?

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Major Guage frustration on: April 29, 2006 08:45:01 PM
So I began knitting Sesame from Magknits... http://www.magknits.com/Aug05/sesame.htm
I checked the guage prior to starting, and i was bang on.  Now that I've finished all the pieces and they're blocking, so i wanted to make sure they were the correct widths, cuz the pieces were looking a little wider than they should be.  It looks like the sweater is going to turn out to be 44" wide instead of 40"!!! Can I take the sweater in while I seam it?  Will this ruin the look of the sweater?  Please help Sad

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Can Mohair be frogged? on: January 23, 2006 04:46:48 PM
Help...this christmas i knit a mohair sweater (to dye for from s&b), and i overestimated the size that it should have been.  I really want to frog it but when i try, it just ends up as a big messy pile, which brings me to my question...can mohair be frogged at all?

thx,
Hilary
