I feel your pain (studying).  I'm a pharmacy student and have a lot of trouble putting down the knitting and getting back to studying.  Btw, I like the star hat.

I'm working on a BBBB in 100% acrylic (didn't want to use wool on the baby's sensitive skin), and it's curling pretty badly and the seams where the stitches change.  Does anyone know if acrylic will benefit from blocking?

I definitely recommend ram wools (north end on fife street).  It has a beautiful selection, although it's a little far (I guess that depends on where you live.  It's website is ramwools.com
