8  Re: A crafty detective gallery of sneakiness!! in The Swap Gallery by Hollycopter381 on: May 14, 2009 08:29:18 PM
Prepare for jealousy!
I received an AMAZING box.
First off I wasnt allowed to open the box until my mom and grandma were present (They were just as excited for this package to come as i was!)
The first thing i unwrapped was a nintendo DS case with pockets for games!

And then this great bag!

My favorite colors are bright and jewel tones so these are PERFECT
Then this rug from my wists

It looks lopsided but it isnt. My grandma tried to keep it so i had to put her in her place!
I had mentioned that i would like to learn to draw and she got me these great books!

Then If that wasnt enough i found these babies

Stitch markers that i was in desperate need off (there was a casualty in transit)

A pendent like the one in my wist!

The greatest necklace ever!!
So who is my stalker?Huh

When reading it i was confused i couldn't think of 7 letter word for olive except for martini and grandma had to point out that it was an "avacado" and then my mom had to tell me the correct way to spell AVOCADO.

Thank you Mcbenno! <333

9  Tote bag + accessories (Img Heavy) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Hollycopter381 on: May 05, 2009 01:10:35 AM
I made these for my partner in the crafty detective swap and since she has received I figure i will get to posting.
First of all a large tote/WIP bag
I used the reversible tote tutorial by gloriana but changed the straps.

Next I made two square zipper pouches.

Its not as crooked as it looks.

and lastly a Tea wallet.

The back

<3 Comments, Criticism or tips welcome.

10  A ruffle scarf. 2pics <3 in Knitting: Completed Projects by Hollycopter381 on: May 05, 2009 12:55:11 AM
I made this for my partner is the crafty detective swap and since she has received i figured i would get to posting.

The pattern is from Ruffle lace scarf by Suzie Blackman on Ravelry.

This was a really great pattern perfect movie knit but i totally underestimated the amount of stitches. You start with 128 and end with 1017.

Every female in the family is requesting one (including myself) so i think i am going to try and use mohair like the pattern suggests.
