i hope you don't mind, but i have a critique for you...i'm an artist too, and i find it helpful to hear what people really think good or bad. i think it is a good painting. basquiat's influence on you is a little obvious. it looks more like a painting that was done by basquiat, not something that is fresh and new for the contemporary world. on the other hand, creating a piece of work that looks like it was done by basquiat can be a compliment as well. i hope i wasn't harsh.

great work. you are a talented portrait artist. maybe you should create a website of your work as a way to get your name out there. as for the question of framing...unless you are in a very relaxed setting or you personally know the person you are doing the commission for (friend/ relative), they are probably going to want a professional frame. that, unfortunately, is just the nature of original pieces of art on paper. you might be able to work something out with potential buyers, by saying that you will give them a 'discount' if they buy the frame themselves. But  I would not charge any less than 100 dollars for your work. if you don't put a substantial price on your work than buyers might not take you seriously. woah. i wrote a lot more than i thought. hope its not overwhelming. good luck.

they both look pretty good. the only suggestion i have is to work on the skin tone of the arms and face more. maybe its just the photo, but it looks a little flat because it seems to be one solid color. the rest of the painting looks great though.

they look good. i did some coasters too, for a christmas present. the mac-tac is a great idea. i just used a matte medium, but i guess i will have to go get some mac-tac now, and make the gift complete.
