1  Charley Harper Notepad Tutorial with recycled papers! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by evahesse on: December 22, 2008 02:31:27 PM

Last week, while reading a post from Creature Comforts I discovered that Old Navy (of all places) was carrying a line of Charley Harper products! I was so thrilled, that I dashed out the very next day to pick up my own set of memory game cards to make gift tags. When I got back home I realized that there wasnt really any way that I would be able to make the gift tags the same way because I dont have a drill to make the hole (in my excitement to purchase the set I completely forgot this detail). So, I stared at the colorful box of cardboard tiles for a good fifteen minutes trying to figure out how I was going to use them, which eventually gave me the idea for this tutorial: a colorful notepad using recycled papers.

It's a little long and image heavy to post here, so here is the link to the full tutorial. I would love to know what you think!

4  Re: do you think this ad is effective? in Crafty Business Discussion by evahesse on: September 07, 2008 12:27:57 PM
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I have changed the ad to make it more appealing...simplified the background but didn't change the font color. I thought about it, but decided that I liked the white font. What do you think of this one.

5  some abstract paintings in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by evahesse on: March 19, 2006 04:03:30 PM
hey guys. i am graduating soon with a BFA in painting and drawing and I wanted to get some feedback on my paintings. These are from my Haze series. They are acrylic on paper. Any and all constructive criticism would be much appreciated. Don't worry about being harsh. I have heard it all. Thanks for looking.
