1  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Studded boots on: January 31, 2009 12:36:40 PM
I'm really in love with Louboutin studded boots, but I have no money to buy them. Yesterday, my mother's boss give me a pair of black boots that tehy couldn't sell in the shop. The boots were good, but no my kind of shoes, so today I decided to make them a little more punkish and Louboutin look alike. There are the results Wink

Before:

After:

I made them with a lot of studs (almost 140!!) that come from an old studded belt that I didn't like it anymore. I painted them all black wih permanent marker. I hope you like them!!! Coments are apreciated!!!

P.S.: Excuse my bad English.
2  EUROPE / SPAIN / Crafty forum in spanish on: February 04, 2007 07:36:28 AM
In Spain we don't have any cool forum like craftster or any crafty forum, we only have crafts for grandmas or boring crafts. I decided to make one Crafty forum in spanish, so people in Spain who can't speak english and love to craft can post their things. The forum is:

http://server3.foros.net/index2.php?mforum=hazlotumismo

but this is only a prove, I'm making a better one. If anybody wants to help, I'll be very happy Smiley.

Thanks a lot Smiley.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Estoy creando un foro de manualidades tipo Craftster pero en castellano. La idea surgi por la falta de buenos foros de manualidades en castellano y porque mucha gente no save mucho ingles y no puede entender algunas cosas de los foros ingleses.
El foro provisional es:

http://server3.foros.net/index2.php?mforum=hazlotumismo

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Cherries pin... Yummy... on: January 25, 2007 01:21:26 PM
Last day I was so bored and I didn't want to study and I decided to crochet something. I was thinking and i came out with the idea to crochet a pin (or brooch) to put in my plaid Pullovers or shirts, and that's what I come witht:

The pin itself.

Action shoot in my grey pullover.

Detail.

I think it looks maybe a little Rockabilly Smiley, but I like it very much.
It's so simple to crochet and it has a pin attached in the back.
I hope you like my pin and I also hope that this is the correct place to post it (I was thinking to post it in trinkets and jewelry).
I'll love to read your comments.
Be happy!!!
4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / I crochet a cactus (now with pattern!!) on: January 14, 2007 09:45:09 AM
I learned to crochet a long time ago and I only crocheted hats, pencilcases and scarves. But last week I came with the idea of crochet a plant but I didn't know what plant I can crochet, so I was thinking and I came out with the idea of crochet a cactus, because i really like cactus, so I come with this:

I don't know if anybody here has made anything like this, but I searched and I didn't find any.
I make the pattern myself and I used 4mm hook and green acrylic yarn.
I hope you like it.
Comments would be apreciated Smiley

P.S.: Sorry for my bad english Wink

Edit: Pattern on page 2!!

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Pink scarf for my little cousin with pattern on: January 09, 2007 11:08:44 AM
Hi! This is my first post (I hope I do all OK). Last saturday, my aunt teaches me a new way to knit scarves that it's easy and quick. So esterday I decided to make a scarf with this stitch to my little cousin. I made it in pink wool because she loves pink (she is 3 yeras old). Here is the scarf:

If anybody wants, i can post the patter for the scarf, the stitch of this is called punto magico in spanish but i think i can translate it in english.
I hope all you like my scarf.
Thank you for read this.
Que vaya bonito.
P.S.: Excuse my english, I'm not an english speaker.

Edit:

I just finished to write the patern for a friend, so I post it:

Materials:
-Yarn: any kind of yarn will work, but chunky one is better)
-Knitting needles (9 or 10mm)

Pattern:
Co 13 stitches
1-k1 Co1 (in the needle where the knit one is) p1 Co1 (in the same needle of the oter stitch, so now you have 4 stitches in one needle and 11 in the other) k1 Co1, p1 Co1...to the end of that row.
2- *p1, k3* repeat to the end of te row.
3- *k1, p3* repeat to the end of the row.
4- Repeat row 2 and 3 until the work mesures 3/4 of the lenght that you want.
5- k1, take of one stitch of the needle and then p1 (knit the first stitch and purl the third! in your right hand needle yo will have 2 stitches!) then BO this stitches so you'll have 1 st in the right needle, take of the next stitch and purl the next, Bo this stitches, repeat it until you finish to Bo yor scarf.
And now comes the magic thing. Take your scarf and make it bigger putting of the stitches you dont BO.

If you don't understand anything of the pattern, i'll explain you whatever you ask me Smiley.

Here is the photo of the scarf hat my aunt makes me:
