2  Otto the Bear Hoodie in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by globox on: August 02, 2009 04:09:00 PM
So it's not quite completed, I had to order the cord (white), cord stops (black) and eyelets (black) for the hood online as they were not stocked at my local lincraft, so they won't arrive for about a week and the ribbing on the bottom is only pinned on until then so I can make no visible seams - it would almost be reversible if I had a reversible zip and pockets on the inside, it's lined with fleece so is very warm. You can't really see the side front pockets as the top stitching is white. I named it Otto ^__^

Please ignore the prominent apple logo I wasn't trying to advertise apple or the iPhone.

5  Goat Tote in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by globox on: April 18, 2007 01:28:23 PM
This is a Tote I made for a swap, my SP liked goats and these colors. All the fabrics used are upholstery scraps from furniture factories where I used to live, so this rich looking bag actually cost $0  Shocked. I got told by many that the Goat Applique looks more like a horse but I think it's cool anyways.

Applique Detail - I love both these fabrics and the contrast I think works well.

Suede-y inside - yum.

6  Re: Any suggestions for camouflaging/'fixing' an accidental bleaching? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by globox on: April 18, 2007 05:53:14 AM
This was an attack with bleach on a black shirt - after a bathroom cleaning mishap I just went nutso directly pouring/spraying/drawing with the bleach bottle on it, scrunched it up then threw it in the washing machine. I ended up with this awesome green and brown shirt.

8  Beaded Nintendo Mushroom in Beads: Completed Projects by globox on: February 20, 2007 10:56:40 PM
So I just brought the "native american bead loom" from lyncraft and to try it out just used the lil seed beads that came with it to bead a lil shroom guy. It is 18x18 or 324 beads and took about 25mins. They didn't have enough colored beads with it so I used two types of orange. I would love to bead something actually Native American Indian out of different colored stains of wooden/imitation wood seed beads next. I still have the chart I made for it if anyone wants although it is pretty easy to work out.

Not entirely sure what to do with this now it's off the loom.
