I found this costume/snuggy/poncho online, and loved it a lot.

So crafted my own (ended up being $30 for all the fabric)

It was super simple! Fleece poncho with a hoodie=Awesome
Its really warm too, me and my hubby have been wearing it around the house. That's when we got the idea to make one for him too. I quickly sewed one up for him that day.
Hes a polar bear. The poncho is all white, and the hood has a red lining.

I have this children book called Ten Christmas Angels that my Grandma used to read to me and my cousins.
She gave each Angels one of our names, I was given the little angel who goes off with the nicest cake (Its a counting book, they all leave one by one until one angel is left).

I thought because I am about to Graduate Culinary school- Baking and Pastry I need this on my wall. And with some changes, and many mistakes. Here it is....


I was trying to go picture perfect at first, and it was really bugging me. But one day when I was working on it, I took a brake and went to go make some tea. When I came back and glanced at it I thought "Aww...Its my bakery" So I stopped going for picture perfect and just kept painting tell I was pleased with what I had done!

Heres a picture of the painting and the book so size comparison.

I got a small jar from my mom of old, cheap, messy, broken oil pastels.

I already have a bunch of pastels that i actually use for art and stuff.

I was wondering if you can melt them like crayons or something to make new/awesome pastels?

or as anybody got any cool ideas of what I can do with them?

a little bit of art above my night stand


a few buttons I made for a friend, who requested them.

made from a babies food jar, with a magnetic strip along the top. then decorated in those small beads things. NEAT!

(i just now realized i put this in the wrong spot, so dont get mad at me, I'm going to go fix it)

nothing new. but I'm crafting all my stuff away.
plus i needed a pillow just to throw onto the floor or behind my head when needed.

well its been my week for crafting, but you can read more about it on my many other topics I've been putting up.


my camera really needed a case  just to keep the dust off it.

Its been my week to clean out a lot of stuff, and some of that is my crafting stuff. So i made this week (spring break) the week to craft all my stuff away, so i can my more crafting stuff.
i got a lot done, but not all of it sadly. oh well...

I had this large envelopes, and so i made large cards to go inside using scrap paper.

nothing great, but i had fun doing these. I had some other designs, but i sent them out pretty fast (about half of these are already gone.)

its spring break! (which is almost over). But i made a goal to get a lot of my craft projects done....so i can go out and buy more craft stuff (i got other topics of projects i got to do this week)

With some white shoe laces i found and some glitter I found. I spiced up my shoes just a little.
