Sweetlysurreal...these required 2 firings in the kiln, plus AA LOT of coldworking (grinding, shaping) so 2 days for that...then I ground a groove all the way around, and wire wrapped them...so 2+ days.
OK I KNOW these look really simple..but they're NOT! First, the colors have to be right on, and all of the colors need to be uniform, and the shape has to be symmetric...and these are TINY. I nearly go buggy-eyed every year making these buggers! I also wire wrap them because adhesive tends to dry and become brittle when left in a jewelry box for a long time..and nobody's going to wear these all year. I love these little sweeties!
*sigh* I love you, glass. Last week, I made oodles of sunflower pendants, this week I tried these pink ones with the same design idea...now I love these! They remind me of teeny tiny little lily pads in a pond!
