Hiya!  My hubby made these this weekend!  Like 'em?  They are sooo funky!

They're made from vintage forks (silverplated) and gemstones!

22  Recycled Wine Bottle Cheese Trays! GO GREEN! ( 3 pics ) in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by TickleTickle on: September 08, 2008 09:02:01 AM
Here's a fun fusing project!  I'm so tickled with these!  The most fun was embellishing the necks of the bottles.

I used a verrrrrrrry conservative fusing schedule on these.  Why? Because the COE of this glass is unknown, so, it's very hard to predict what these buggers will do in the kiln!  I love 'em!  YAY!

Here's the verrrrrrry light green one:

...and here's a less "artsy-fartsy" shot of it ( I LOVE THIS ONE!)...

[/b]...and here's a prettttty dark green one that I made, too![/b]

Well!  Tell me what you think!  I love all of your thoughts and comments!

23  Swirled Fused Pendants: I wanna show you some new kiln candy!!! in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by TickleTickle on: August 27, 2008 01:51:44 PM
hi hi hi!  'Tis been a busy summer for me!  But I *HAD* to show you these new goodies!  Which one is your fave!??!

Hope you like 'em!  These were all created using the same technique, an Aperture Pour, and an open-kiln raking technique....glass is melted in a vessel, and allowed to drip, forming these swirling designs!  Smiley

24  New "Transparencies" Pieces in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by TickleTickle on: June 25, 2008 09:35:19 AM
...made of clear glass and frit.  A groove was ground (VERY CAREFULLY!) around the edge, then, the pieces were wire wrapped.

It's not possible to glue a bail...they show through from the back and look awful!

Whatcha think?

27  Happy SPRING! Here's some new pendants from my kiln! ( 3 pics ) in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by TickleTickle on: March 26, 2008 03:40:29 PM
I've got it b-a-a-a-a--a-d.  Spring will never get here, it seems.  Michigan got dumped with another foot of snow, which is melting!  It's gotta get here soon!

Here's some newbies from my day of fusing:

Hippie Chick Fused Glass Donut with Soft Deerskin Leather Cord:

Spring Fever Garden Collection - Cherry Blossoms

Optimist Pendant - This Glass is Half FULL!

Hope ya like em!

28  Petit Fours - Candy Colored Fused Glass Pendants - WARNING: BRIGHT! in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by TickleTickle on: March 05, 2008 03:46:40 PM
I'm in the throws of SPRING FEVER!  We're gradually seeing this big, yellow, bright, warm thing in the sky here in Michigan...the sun?  Is THAT what it is?

SOooo..to honour this phenomenon we call Spring, or in Michigan, LATE WINTER...here's some candies.

I think these would look soooo pretty with a plain white top, or a cute sundress.

All of them:

29  Flowers. Sunshine. Love. What else is there? in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by TickleTickle on: February 28, 2008 12:57:59 PM
...well, there's also chocolate, but that's love, right?

And Ben and Jerry's ice cream...love.

I loooove this one, too.  These are millefiore that I've embedded in crystal clear glass, and then I wrapped the whole pendant with sterling wire.

I am thinking about a tattoo in this theme!  Smiley

...and these earrings kindasorta match:

30  Recycled Bottles = Groovy Beads = COOL earrings (4 pics ) in Beads: Completed Projects by TickleTickle on: February 25, 2008 12:00:56 PM
So, I picked up these cool beads at a glass conference.  I'm in love with ALL of them, and in fact, have inspired a new "recycled" line in my studio...

Coke Bottle Beads...

Another shot of them hanging:

Beads made from a jar:

More bottle beads...these are my favorite beads, they're very rough, organic, natural and beachy:

The holes in these are SO wide that I used 5, yes FIVE headpins in each one!
