81  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / My Self-Portrait (Lots of Piccies!) on: January 22, 2006 12:35:00 AM
Ok...so I was smart and took pictures of my process...

First I stenciled the outline...(probably wondering why the hair's red eh?...I mean my little avatar dude has black hair...)

It's because I dyed my roots red so my hair has a reddish outline...lol...but here's the same picture with some touchups on the shirt...

Here's my first shot at coloring it in...

That's really shoddy...I know...so I fixed it...

Then I decided I'd take a better pic of it

I'm gonna get some really fine wire and put it as strings on the guitar...

This isn't my best but I like it anyway...

Other than telling me about the smudges around it and the runny-ness of the paint and lines...comments are welcome...

Man this boy must be thick in the head...(not even a second glance...)
Oh well...he looks like harry potter so I'll come up with another nice t-shirt attempt which I'm sure I'll share with you all later...

...but I believe I promised a stencil, did I not?

I wanna make an Anti-Zelda shirt that says "I could treat you better, Link..."  but I think that would scare people...haha

Made my own stencil with paint...just copied chunks of color till it looked right for me...if you want I'll upload and post it...

I think I've found a new fetish...because video game characters are easy to stencil...really...

I used the chuckie pumpkin design at www.zombiepumpkins. com
Their designs work really well on black t-shirts

Hi, All...I've been watching the boards here for a while and finally decided to get off my butt and contribute.
Here's my latest shirt:

Hope you like it...I'm open to any kind of comments/constructive criticism.
