I wish I had before pictures, but I don't. Just picture white walls, mattress on the floor and very old faded storebought wallyworld spiderman.

I decorated this room for my son's 9th birthday as a surprise. I thought it would kill me by the end, but it was fun mostly Smiley We just finished today. It's really the first thing I've ever felt good enough about to show here Tongue

I made the curtains, drapes, doorknob dillybob, pennants, comforter, pillows, tablecloth and paintings. I painted the frames and stained all of the baskets/boxes in the bookcase. The futon is a hand-me-down from a friend, we only bought a few pieces.

I still have some finishing details to do- but it's "complete" enough to live in until I get around to it!

We took the closet doors off, put my son's dresser inside to give him more floor space, and then made drapes to cover the doorway:
