Sunday was my birthday, so this whole weekend was kinda shot for me... and of course I am torturing myself on color and fiber content and all this silly detail stuff, when my partner is Soooo easy! (thanks ThreadOrYarn!). It's hard to stop brain storming and commit too! I wanna do so many things! I think if this swap were any longer I would probably break the bank just in shipping!!!

Woot! My b-day was sunday and my hubby, kids, BFF, MIL and FIL brought cake and ballons in to work (I work at Starbucks!) and they sang HBD! It was super sweet!

I took a little time off to do some moderating, but next week is craft week!!! I get to go fiber shopping with my fiber expert neighbor and if I don't dye everything weird shades of brown, I might have a sweet project for my lovely swap pal Yarn or Thread! Woot!

Gah! this seems like such an awesome swap! I must resist!

HI! I'm Jené and my birthday is Jan 11th! I love almost anything hand made! My current crafts of passion are; spinning, crocheting, knitting, and most of the glitter and glue crafts! Crafts I admire most are; resin, wire work, art, sewing stuff, revamping thrift store stuff, and crocheting and cable knitting and spinning. I would really really really love some clothes. Any craft you can do that I can wear would be sweet! I'm curvy, so I would be happy to PM you some specs! My colors are more jewel tones, so magenta, deep purple, royal blue, emerald green. I also like colors that compliment those. Browns, greys, and blacks are fine, white gets dirty . I love to recycle, so if you do a recycled craft, I'm all over it!  I love the sun and snow, and ocean/water. Thanks for reading my list!

Caron's simply soft is a bit slippery to work but I like it because it is soft! Not scratchy like some of the more acrylic-ie acrylics!

Nice blankets! How long did it take you to crochet those?!?! I love the idea of a crocheted blanket, but man what a labor of love!

this is such an awesome craft for extending the wear of kids clothes! I have cut the snaps out of many onesies, and added a new sewn on skirt for DD, and you can of course taking this idea, you can actually CUT the middle of the onsie out, add 2 inches of crochet, sew the two halves on, add the skirt to the croched middle and you have now made a size 12 mo onsie into a size 28months OUTFIT!

Also, adding a cute rippley cuff to leggings or long sleeves will give you another 3-6 months of length!
