I am new to crochetting and I only know the one type of stitch, but i managed to make a scarf this morning with some vintage yarn. I also made my doggie a scarf.




I like them both. :]

What do you all think of them?

Hey you all, I wanted to make my doggie a dog coat/harness using this pattern:

unfortunatly my dogs chest measures 19 inches though, and I cant figure out how to resize it in gimp so that it will fit my doggie.
any help greatly appreciated! thankies!

I want to make some trinkets and buttons for some friends and myself but i'm not really sure which glue to go with.I wan't it to be pretty tough though! I'm looking for a good glue that will glue plastic to wood, the little wood "disks"  are going to be painted with acrylic paint.I tried the website: http://www.thistothat.com
And it say's to try Goop...but I have never used goop before. what are your opinions on GOOP and if you don't like it or you don't think it will work for me what else can I use?

Not at all! I used this pattern and cut it out at an XL and put a 1/4 inch seam allowance on it..But you could probably cut it smaller if you aren't using super thick fabric,Plus I kinda like my hats to be a little baggy rather than tight.
for the ears I just made 2 smaller triangles and 2 felt triangles the same size and sewn them together inside out and then flipped them right side out and folded one of the corners over about half way so that the fur shows on the front a bit.

This was my first try at making an earflap hat. The earflaps came out a bit uneven/twisted Because I made the earflap band a bit to big so it bunched a little at the back and one of the ears are floppy? They were suposed to be cat ears but i kinda made them to big haha.   I still like it though   :

 ***edit****I made another hat yesterday with a less shaggy faux fur fabric, I really like the way it turned out. I used plaid flannel for the inside of the ears and the inside of the hat is lined with the plaid flannel too, so it's nice and warm.   :
