I am making a messenger bag and trying to sew in the flap but it is too thick. Is there anyway to raise the foot so I can put the material through and sew it? or am I just stuck.

I woke up super later yesterday, at about 3:00 in the afternoon, and just got down and made a pillow cover. I didn't do any real measurements but somehow it fit my floor pillows PERFECT!! So here is one and I am still working on the other.

The actual case is made of a red bed sheet I have that I never used and the circle & robot/monster are made with old t-shirt material. THe sewing isn't all that great but I'm practicing:P

I did another one:
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Cast-on in the middle of work??? on: October 31, 2004 01:11:23 PM
I am trying to make button holes...so I binded off on on row the needed stitches for the buttons...but on the next row you are to cast on the stitches you binded off...I think in the middle of your work where the binded off parts are...now how do I do that?

the yarn they use is:

Stacy Charles Filitura di Crosa Alpaca Oggi,
1-3/4oz. / 50g skein; each about 82yd/ 75m
