I made 3 pairs of armwarmers from LMKG - more details on my blog!

I love this book and it's always on standby when I need quick knits to keep me going...

I made the Children's Cotton Hat in Cashmerino Aran:

It doesn't look much, but actually only takes about 2 hours and has really pleased the recipient (my daughter, Chloe):

I thought I'd show off some socks I have just started with some Kool Aid dyed yarn...

They look like Easter eggs!

4  Re: knitscene's central park hoodie in Knitalongs by Keletubbie on: January 08, 2007 01:54:56 AM

This is a progress pic from earlier last night - sorry about the bad lighting! I have now finished the right front and gotten a couple of pattern repeats into the hood. I hope to finish the hood tonight so I can begin picking up the bazillion stitches for the edging... yes, that's my least favourite bit.

I know it looks very slender in this pic - that's because the sleeves have been blocked and the body is still a bit curly  Cheesy

I am making progress! I have finished two sleeves and the back is only about 2 inches from completion. There's a little bit of an issue with having enough yarn (I have managed to track more down online, it's a discontinued colour of DB Merino Aran) but I hope to finish soon!

Here's a few progress pics...

6  Belated Soctoberfest FO round up! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Keletubbie on: November 28, 2006 11:41:14 AM
Ok, so where were these pictures during the actual month of Socktoberfest? I finished 0 things then. Nut I have since picked up the slack and warmed the feet of all and sundry:

A pair of anklet socks in Regia Cotton Surf, each one completed in but a day, thanks to the encouragment of Yarn Harlot.

A jazzy pair of Jaywalkers in hand dyed Opal.

The cabled version of Widdershins from summer's Knitty in some charity shop wool that everyone adores.

Finally, for me at least, the holy grail of socks. Norwegian Stocking from Nancy Bush's Folk Socks. Knit in what I had inherited from my nan. Love 'em.

Details about these and my other socktastic delights can be found on my blog Smiley

Most of the details on them are in this thread but if you're not seeing something or fancy more sock pr0n, mosey over to my blog for the skinny.

I'm a little late to the party, but here's the Elf Cap from Handknit Holidays. A seriously speedy pattern, I literallyy finished it in an evening. I made extra-long i-cord ties to which I intend to add pom poms before it does to my brother's girlfriend for Christmas.

The yarn is Lamb's Pride Bulky - seriously soft stuff.

Here's my first Jaywalkers in progress! They've been slow-going because of all the other things I am trying to get done (see my blog for details!) but I love them and will struggle to give them away at Christmas.

Yarn is self-dyed Opal and they're knitted up on the recommended 2.25mm DPNs.

Ok, so not the finest pics in the world... but here's some self-striping yarn I dyed with Kool Aid in the process of becoming a Jaywalker sock. It still has a few bald patches colourwise but I am getting better at the technique!

I experimented with using a few dashes of Tamarind flavour to darken up the green and orange, which worked pretty well.
