I had my trial hair and make up day this weekend and got a picture taken of how i will look on the big day. I can't post it here in case my intended sees it, but i cropped down the picture as it shows the tiara I made in better light.  I'm really pleased with the results. Thanks to all who provided all the helpful links. x

Thank you all so much for your advice.  Here is what i came up with.

I'm not sure if i will try again and make it a little wider, but i think this one may do - have to try it with my veil and see.

Sorry about it being a bit dark - the flash kept reflecting off the crystals so i had to take it without the flash on.

Am quite proud of it as i only did 2 practise runs with cheap coloured beads first.

I've started hunting around for tiara's and i don't know about the USA, but in the UK they seem to be incredibly expensive!  Shocked  I've seen a few I like, but to be honest, they don't look all that hard to make.  I've never done any wire-related jewellrey making though - how hard is it to make a tiara?

I know where I can get the head band, wire and beads from, it's just the putting together that i'm a bit nervous about.  I've seena  few tutorials on here, but nothing that quite matches what I am trying to achieve.  Does anyone have any links or books they can recommend me to get me going, please?

Many thanks

I'm thinking of trying to make one similar to these below.
