1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Mrs. Frizzle Style Dress on: September 29, 2013 12:16:26 PM
Hey everyone I decided that I'm going to be Mrs. Frizzle this year for halloween and I'd like to sew/recreate a dress that is fairly accurate, including the collar and long puffy sleeves. Does anyone know of any sewing patterns or online tutorials that I can check out to get me started? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Does anyone know how or know of a pattern to crochet this triangle scarf? Its by Donna Perkins, and I love it but I'd like to try to make it myself.

6  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / headboard help. on: June 25, 2006 06:56:25 AM
I was planning on putting a collage of pictures on my headboard and using modpodge to stick them on, then using it as a sealer when i finish it.  Is that a good idea or are there easier, better ways to do this?  Help is appreciated.
7  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / 2 shirts. on: April 27, 2006 03:41:30 PM
Here are some shirts i've done in the past few months.

For my sister, one of here fav. quotes from the show Gilmore Girls:

For me, because all my friends say i'm "diesel" or "jacked" when i'm really not.  This one bled like a bitch though.  Oh yeah and this was my first attempt on a "ribbed" shirt, i don't think i'll be using them again any time soon.

Comments/critism/helpful hints are appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone could make one, or both, of the following pictures into stencils for me.  For the first one, i'd like the car in the stencil, also.

I was wondering if anyone could make the images from these 2 shirts into stencils for me.  I've tried numerous times but can't seem to get it right.

10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / multiple layer stenciling. on: March 27, 2006 11:47:20 AM
I was wondering if anyone could explain (or give me a link to a tutorial) to me how to multi-layer stencil and make them.  I sort of have the gist of it...but i'm not a very quick learner.  Lips sealed  Anyway, i've already read the tutorial on the stencil revolution site, and it didn't really help me that much.  Thanx.
