4  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Pierogies and Breakfast Burritos, Oh My! on: August 14, 2011 01:35:04 PM
I love my days off!!!!

I ended up making pierogies and breakfast burritos today!

The Pierogies are filled with potato, onion, and cheese, and the Breakfast Burritos are full of hamburger, cheese, salsa, and scrambled eggs.

Oh my goodness was it worth it! I made the dough for both the tortillas and the pierogies by hand, and I made the fillings, too! Both doughs were hard to roll out (darn you small kitchen!!) but after removing everything humanly possible off the counter, I ended up with just enough room to get everything done.

Both recipes were designed for freezing and thawing, so I have plenty of foods I can cook quick, now! And considering I work late, hopefully this should streamline our late dinner time.

Recipes if you want 'em!

5  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Soybean Dip? Soybean Dip. on: August 07, 2011 06:10:51 PM
Yep! I made soybean dip!

It was originally an experimental I-really-want-a-snack recipe, but it's so gosh-darned good I've remade it twice now!

The best part about it is my husband-to-be generally avoids vegetables like the plague, and he gobbled it up! Grin

The recipe includes edamame, mayo, olive oil, cream cheese, pepper and garlic salt.

Full recipe on my blog because I really don't want to retype it Tongue

6  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Latest News / Re: Craftster Transition to New Servers on Thursday 2/25/10 on: March 05, 2010 11:56:49 PM
1:55 A.M. Search is being wonky. Could just be an overload.

"Unable to access the search deamon."

EDIT: Just looked at the posts above me. I guess it's not just me Smiley

No biggie. Server transitions have problems like this all the time. Sounds like it's a bad line of code, maybe. Just my $0.02

8  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Tea Tree oil foot treatment! on: May 12, 2009 09:23:56 AM
Ho'kay!

Sorry about the lack of pictures, but this stuff looked awful, so it's ok. I swear XD

My feet were dry right before bed, and I didn't have any lotion. But in the bathroom I had like, a smidgen of vaseline in a jar left, and a bottle of tea tree oil sitting around. Oh yeah! Easy recipe!

So in the jar I had about... oh... 2 Tablespoons of vaseline. With that, I added about 10 drops of straight tea tree oil, and mixed with a skewer. It smells aaawesome Cheesy

I spread it on my feet, stuck on some socks, and went to sleep. In the morning, my feet looked great!

Tea tree oil is a natural anti-fungal and antibacterial, so it works really well with foot treatments.

Total cost; Nothing! I had everything in my house Cheesy

EDIT; Ffffff, this needs to be moved to the discussion board, could a mod move it? ;_;
