I only have two this week, it's the week before finals, so I've been soooo busy.  Beautiful stuff everyone!

Turquoise Berry, approx 198 yards

Mauve Dream, approx 138 yards

I sure hope I'm getting better.  All of these are 100% merino and between 150-200 yards.  Help me name them?

This is dyed with Wilton's Icing Dye.

This one is with icing dye as well.

As is this one.  Sorry it's so far away.

This one is with Easter Egg Dye.  It really works!  This is the only one that I dyed as roving instead of already spun.

Soooo...any help with names?  Or any ideas on how I can improve?  I'm still kind of new to spinning, only been doing it since August, I think.

Beautiful yarn everyone...I'm jealous of the person who got all that yarn from you, Knitwit!

These were both done with mill end roving (15% mohair 85% wool).

It's pretty nice!  I'm still getting the hang of spinning and I don't know how to ply for the life of me, but I'm having fun and it's definitly nicer than my previous yarns.  Yikes!

And my black friday was HELL.  I had to be at Target at 5:30 this morning (I work there)  thank god Fazoli's was brought in for us or else I'd be punching people.

Great yarn, btw!  Smiley

My very first yarn on my wheel...

way overspun.  But I'm learning (and trying!)

First picture is true color.

Ok here we go guys.

And I made these stitch markers, nothing fancy, super easy.

Sorry the pics are so small, I didn't want to have people have to wait ages for them to load.

6  hand made stitch markers in Knitting: Completed Projects by palaverly on: May 04, 2006 08:02:01 AM
So last night, I was working on my clapotis, and I decided that my stitch markers were ugly and boring.  So I went over to the craft store and bought some supplies and made some stich markers.  I ended up making almost 30, but these were my favorites.

Sorry about the crappy quality of the pictures, all I've got on me is my phone Sad

(edit because these are MARKERS, not HOLDERS...*headdesk*)
