I've searched craftster, and google.

Maybe i'm searching wrong, but can anyone help me?
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Bows - Where do you get the centerpieces of your bows from? on: June 29, 2007 03:25:30 PM

So, in some hairbows, there is a little button type thing right where that brown thing is in the middle.

Like maybe a little Hello Kitty face, or a strawberry or something.

My question is, where do you get these button things from?

It's almost Christmas and i'm running out of gift time!  I need something for my friends. About ten friends that I am getting/making gifts for.  All girls and middle graders.  I need something that is nice and but inexpensive.  Any advice or links to projects or anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Just Learned To Knit - My New Scarf - Opinions Please - 2 Pictures on: November 05, 2006 07:14:01 AM
So i'm 12 years old and i've always wanted to knit and last year for Christmas my grandma gave me a book. I never understood the cast on part so I got a book from the library with simple directions. I kind of combined those two books to learn how to know. The other week I used super super small needles and made my little sister a scarf. It took forever. Well I got big needles and this weekend I made a scarf for me! My needles are size 17 by the way. It's not really going to keep me warm but I still love it.

How do you think I did. This was my second real project.

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Rawr! Dinosaur Earrings! on: September 30, 2006 05:46:33 PM
Yay! So I have way too much fun jabbing hot metal through plastic stuff. I found a bag of 48 little dinosaurs for a dollar at the dollar store! I had some chain earrings I already made that I was going to put guitar picks on but I decided that plastic stegosauruses where way cooler. Tell me what you think!

I needed a big needle since the chain is so thick so I got my moms meat sauce injector thing. (Think flu shot needles but about 100 times bigger.) Any comments are appreciated.

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Retro Earrings on: September 10, 2006 07:10:52 AM
I made some retro-ey earrings. I haven't added backs yet.

Group Shot ^

These are colored beads that I put clay around. ^

These are my favorite. They're little purple donut beads that I put pink polka dots on. In the center, or in the donut hole I guess you could say, I added paint and let it harden.

Enjoy,
Courtney
10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Dressing Up School Uniforms? on: September 08, 2006 05:31:18 PM
My school has uniforms...and they're so blah. This is a description of what we have to wear:

-Collared shirt in either solid white, light blue, navy, or red.
-Bottoms must be solid khaki, navy, or black.
-Shirts must be tucked in.
-If the garment has belt loops a belt must be worn.
-No heavy coats. Only light jackets in the the shirt colors.
-No logos whatsoever.

Thats it. Shoes and belts are free to our choosing. No hair or jewelry restrictions.

But what I need are ideas on how to look different. Like if you could point me to any tutorials for hair stuff, jewelry, ect. that would be wonderful. Or just any clothing ideas.

Thanks in advance,

Courtney
