171  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Old Black Ked's (imgs) on: December 13, 2005 06:51:18 PM
I'm just going to list random ideas to revitalize those Keds.

Different laces -- ribbon or decorated laces or a measuring tape cut to be thin enough
Add buttons -- sew buttons all over it or on one side of the tongue and elastic hoops on the other side
Stencil images all over them in fabric paint or acrylic and fabric medium
Sew fabric shapes on them like stars or hearts

Hope one of those inspires you!

hahaha! i saw the first on one tv last night, it's amazing how much the kid's have changed. harry got ugly.

I agree! Through the entire movie, Harry looked the three G's - grungy, greasy, and gross!

Cedric Diggory was hot, though. That made up for it.

That's so adorable! Good job.

It took me a few minutes to figure out why there were koalas in the Christmas Carol, though.

Hello, I'm new at Craftster. I was wondering if anyone could help me make the following image into a stencil. I don't have Photoshop yet, but I'm asking for it for Christmas.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Where did you find out how to write those words?

I put them on my paint program and stretched them out

you're done

Thank you! Now I have to resist the temptation to stencil Chinese onto everything I own. I want to minor in Chinese in college.
